We are currently looking for an experienced attorney with strong academic credentials, a track record of innovation and the desire to grow. The successful candidate will join the Greater China Legal Team, reporting to the General Counsel of BRIC (China, Brazil, India and Russia) who is based in Shanghai. The role will involve dealing with our most important customers in the region as well as working with other members of the corporate legal department around the world.


Responsibilities

In this role, you will be developing your legal skills by being involved in a wide range of challenging and interesting legal work. This will include:

drafting, negotiating and analyzing a wide variety of sales and other agreements with our most important customers and partners;
participating as a core member of the company’s sales and business teams on major transactions;
researching and advising on key legal questions;
acting as a trusted advisor to senior executives on a wide range of legal issues, from intellectual property to contract law to employment law;
Collaborating with a world class group of legal professionals, in China and elsewhere, on major regional and worldwide initiatives.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have graduated from a top university law department, and should have 10+ years of experience as an attorney, including substantial in-depth experience negotiating and drafting commercial contracts in China. Fluency in written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin) and English are required.



This role will focus on Greater China and some travel within region will be required.
