Description

You will be reporting to the Head of Legal and Compliance of Life Insurance Division, the incumbent is required to provide legal and compliance services that support and facilitate the delivery of business plans, projects and initiatives.


Responsibilities

Provide legal and compliance advice and work with functional areas to resolve legal and compliance issues
Develop and implement compliance policies, programs and conduct compliance reviews
Ensure various compliance reporting requirements are met for both internal and regulatory reporting
Review and investigate escalated complaints
Review legal agreements, administrative forms / declarations, training materials, marketing literature, product documents and sales materials to ensure compliance standards are met
On-going anti-money laundering monitoring, investigation and reporting of reported suspicious transactions
Keeping abreast of current compliance and regulatory trends and best compliance practices within the industry

Requirements

University graduate in Finance / Law or related disciplines
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in compliance with 2-3 years in insurance or audit related industry
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in both written and spoken Chinese and English
Member of professional certified accounting / legal society
